Start Certification
The Youth Coach Certification is currently a five-hour course, and will cover the following topics.
Health and Safety
Coaching 101 (one time only)
Anti-Abuse Training (every other year)
Football Development Model
Youth Contact (for contact coaches only)
Canyon County Optimist Football (CCOF) will be picking up the tab for the $15.00 charge for the Certification. If CCOF hasn’t reached out to pick up the tab yet and you go in and pay it, SAVE YOUR RECEIPT and CCOF will reimburse your $15.
Coaches Clinic:
ALL Coaches Clinic will be held on Saturday, August 6th from 9AM to Noon (At the very latest) @ Boise Optimist Field (Boise Youth Sports Complex)
Parent Orientation:
FLEX – August 2nd from 6:30PM to 8PM @ Nampa Optimist Park Shelter
Fresh/Soph – August 3rd from 6:30PM to 8PM @ Nampa Optimist Park Shelter
Junior/Senior – August 4th from 6:30PM to 8PM @ Nampa Optimist Park Shelter
